The Christie NHS FT is a world-class cancer centre that provides expert care to patients with cancer and other serious illnesses. We are seeking a Senior Lung Cancer Nutritionist to join our team of experienced oncology dietitians.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with recent experience of working in lung oncology, palliative care, and clinical supervision. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a dietetic service for lung and frailty patients, working closely with the senior adult oncology team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a dietetic service for lung and frailty patients
  • Providing expert nutritional support and dietary education services for patients attending the lung outpatient clinics
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to establish and evaluate a dietetic service
  • Conducting research and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
