Job Title: Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our Project and Programme Delivery department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting systems to ensure seamless operations.

Your primary focus will be on providing technical support to our team and the wider Business, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our Senior Project Systems Administrator to implement process improvements, design platform upgrades, and conduct functional testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Jira and Confluence applications
  • Design and develop Jira project configurations
  • Support regular maintenance duties, including operating system and application patching
  • Develop and manage permission models
  • Provide internal support for Business users
  • Develop and deliver real-time reporting using PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Perform end-to-end system testing
  • Provide technical consultations and liaise with other teams

Requirements:

  • Experience in Jira System Administration, including Cloud and Data Centre
  • Knowledge of Confluence and SharePoint administration
  • Exposure to system administration, maintenance experience, and release planning
  • Up-to-date RedHat and Ubuntu Linux administration experience
  • Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services report development
  • Knowledge of PowerBI report development and sourcing data from various data sources
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to function as a member of a team and work with minimal supervision
