Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner/Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Senior Primary Care Clinician to join our team in Barking, working within a GP practice setting. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for managing Nurses and assisting with the management of the practice.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary of £56,000 - £62,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

- 6 weeks annual leave
- Band 8a Salary (outer London higher cost supplement)
Job Description
This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work across two sites, the main site and a branch located a few miles apart. You will be employed by the practice on a full-time basis, seeing patients presenting with acute conditions and supporting GPs with on-the-day cases. The ideal candidate will be a prescriber with experience in minor injuries, minor ailments, triage, and working autonomously.
- See patients with acute conditions and support GPs with on-the-day cases
- Work across both the main and branch sites
- Manage Nurses and assist with practice management
- Mentor other clinicians in the practice
- Get involved in non-clinical decision-making with the GPs
- On-the-day presentations, assessing, diagnosing, or referring to other clinicians/services
- Minor injuries and minor illnesses
- Prescribe medications to patients and advise on treatment options
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ANP or ACP registered with the UK NMC/HCPC
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Experience working in a primary care setting
- Certified in Minor Injuries and Minor Illnesses
- Experience managing or leading a team desirable
