As a key member of the Operations team at MUFG, you will play a vital role in ensuring the resilience and continuity of our business operations.

About the Role

The Operational Resilience Business Partner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective Operational Resilience Framework across the organization.

This will involve building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure that Operational Resilience is embedded throughout the business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Operational Resilience Framework, ensuring it aligns with regulatory requirements and MUFG's strategic objectives.
  • Build awareness and understanding of Operational Resilience across the firm, leading communications and training campaigns at all levels.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, helping Service Owners, Resource Owners, and Operational Resilience Coordinators perform their duties in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Support the management of Important Business Services (IBS) and Critical/Important Functions (CIFs) in line with the Operational Resilience Framework.
  • Establish and manage the process to monitor resilience of IBS and CIFs related to supply chain resilience.
  • Establish and manage testing activities in line with Operational Resilience requirements.
  • Assess vulnerabilities and define and deliver remedial actions.

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of the Operational Resilience Policy Statements (March 2021) and EU Digital Operational Resilience Act requirements.
  • Experience delivering regulatory change and transformation.
  • Supply Chain Resilience and/or Third Party Risk Management knowledge desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across the business and work closely with internal customers.
