Sister/Charge Nurse

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the nursing teams in the Emergency Department, ensuring seamless communication and effective management of patient care needs. As an experienced nurse, the jobholder will coordinate activities, provide support to staff, and develop programs of care.
Main Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Lead Nurse to manage the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department.
- Coordinate the smooth running of the department on a shift-by-shift basis.
- Develop and implement programs of care, ensuring effective management of patient needs.
- Act as a role model, promoting quality evidence-based practice and developing the nursing team.
- Support the Lead Nurse in the development of the nursing team, working with a wide range of professionals.
