Expleo Group is seeking a skilled Vehicle Safety Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves working on a hybrid position with travel to different countries.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with global Product Development engineers to design vehicle platforms with embedded anti-theft security capabilities.
- Host and organize Security Product Approval Test (PAT) meetings with program and platform teams.
- Develop and maintain FEDE requirements and program milestone status reports.
- Manage project deliverables from internal service providers and external verifiers.
- Define the scope of security enhancements and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Develop and manage test schedules.
- Manage key stakeholder expectations up to the Chief Product Engineer (CPE) level.
- Lead change control and configuration management processes.
- Manage technical content and timing issues and risks, and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure robust status estimates for each program and milestone/gateway, documented with engineering contacts to demonstrate attribute performance and record commitments from the Global Ford team.
- Ensure the production of appropriate evidential documents for FEDE results uploads.
- Collaborate with marketing, Ford Connected Solutions and Development (FCSD), and other departments to drive security enhancements.
This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle security and the ability to develop and implement effective security strategies in response to real-world threats, changing legislation, and evolving insurance requirements.
