About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role, a valid SIA license, and a full driving license with access to their own vehicle.

You will be working on a 4 on 4 off rotation, covering 42 hours per week. The salary for this role is £12.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document incidents and observations clearly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Effectively interact with clients, team members, and the public through strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adjust to various situations and respond effectively to changing circumstances or emergencies.
  • Conduct internal and external patrols to monitor security and ensure a safe environment.
  • Manage visitor and contractor access to ensure safety and security on site.
  • Accurately sign in and out individuals, ensuring proper access control and maintaining security protocols.
  • Monitor and manage emails promptly, ensuring clear communication with team members and clients while addressing any inquiries or issues as needed.
Essential Skills:

  • SIA License
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Minimum of 1 year in a security role
  • Basic computing skills
