About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Detailer to join our team at The Solution Group Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed models of structural steel, cladding, and bespoke glazing systems using Tekla Structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tekla Detailing: Utilize Tekla Structures to create detailed models of structural steel, cladding, and bespoke glazing systems, including all related components.
  • AutoCAD Support: Assist with site plans, planning drawings, and standard build details using AutoCAD.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the fabrication shop and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Material Management: Produce bills of materials and create order requests as needed.
  • Site Involvement: Attend sites to survey existing glasshouses, inspect ongoing projects, and participate in snagging at near-completion stages.
  • Client Interaction: Assist in client communications and participate in project meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience using Tekla Structures is required and familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Skills: Strong organisational, written, and numerical abilities are essential.
  • Communication: Confident in interacting with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Team Player: Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic team environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Computer literate with a strong understanding of relevant software.
