Fixed-Term Contract - Months

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Associate to join our Peterborough Adult Locality duty team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will work alongside a Band duty lead, supporting patients in crisis and delivering care to those on the care coordination waiting list.

The role requires flexibility to travel within the Peterborough community at short notice, with daily Multi-Disciplinary Team support.

Main Duties

The post holder will provide high-quality nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental and physical health needs, and their carers, within a multidisciplinary setting.

They will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in line with NMC standards, and will have a working knowledge of local and national policies and legislation governing current service provision.

The post holder will ensure effective communication pathways exist and act within their sphere of responsibility, working as part of the duty team to manage unplanned work and support staff dealing with service users in crisis.
