As a Food Safety and Health Consultant at Food Alert Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and health compliance across various hospitality premises. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough food safety and health inspections and records audits at clients' premises to identify areas for improvement.
- Produce comprehensive reports for clients based on these audits, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Carry out risk assessments, including occupational, manual handling, and personal protective equipment, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Implement the ALERT65 compliance platform for new clients, ensuring seamless integration and effective use.
- Deliver client-specific training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills in food safety and health compliance.
- Act as an Account Manager for a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Investigate allegations of food poisoning, allergic reactions, and foreign bodies, providing timely and accurate reports to clients.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Food Alert Advice Line, responding to client inquiries within set timeframes.
- Provide feedback to Account Managers to enhance relationships between Food Alert and clients, driving business growth and improvement.
- Relevant food safety and health knowledge and experience, typically a BSc Environmental Health or equivalent industry experience, plus professional qualifications (at least L4 Food Safety).
- Proven experience in conducting food safety and health audits of hospitality premises, with a focus on hotels, restaurants, pubs, and bars.
