About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Class Lead to join our team at a special school in Reading. As a Class Lead, you will be responsible for leading a small class, typically with fewer than ten pupils, and ensuring that each child receives tailored support suited to their unique needs.

  • Work closely with a team of dedicated support staff who provide one-to-one support for pupils.
  • Develop individual education plans (IEPs) and track progress against targets.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where every pupil feels valued.

About You:

">
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching children with SEN.
  • Passionate about working in a special needs setting and committed to creating positive outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, particularly for pupils with ASD, MLD, or SLD.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
