Job Summary
Clinical Research Fellows are sought for an innovative project to improve decision-making in cancer care across North East London. This role involves undertaking research and implementing projects to reduce treatment variation, streamline cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) processes, and embed predictive tools in clinical practice.

About the Role
The post would suit trainees between Core and Specialist training, but more experienced candidates will be considered. The post-holder will gain hands-on experience in conducting clinical research, presenting results at national and international conferences, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and applying for funding leading to a higher degree.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct clinical research and implement projects to improve cancer care
* Engage with key stakeholders, including primary and secondary care providers, community groups, charities, and research teams
* Present research findings and publish in peer-reviewed journals

Requirements
* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* GMC registration
* Minimum of 2 years of core surgical training, radiology training, or histopathology training
* Experience in project management, data collection, and statistical analysis
* Ability to communicate well and work within a team
