We specialise in providing weather or environmental protection to drivers of industrial vehicles that do not have cabs. We operate through the manufacture of sewing PVC weather guards and are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers.

The Role

This role involves performing basic sewing/taping skills for all businesses, including learning and maintaining sewing machines, as well as handling specialist responsibilities in the Sewing-PVC Department such as sewing, taping, packing, final inspection, sewing machine maintenance & fault finding. You will be expected to work in accordance with Health & Safety Standards and undertake training to self-develop skills in the Sewing: PVC Department, including training and development of appraisals, communication, structures by setting & maintaining a team culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform basic sewing/taping skills for all businesses- Learn and maintain sewing machines- Handle specialist responsibilities in the Sewing-PVC Department such as sewing, taping, packing, final inspection, sewing machine maintenance & fault finding- Work in accordance with Health & Safety Standards

Requirements

- Interest in a manufacturing industry and working with industrial sewing machines- Keen interest in learning Industrial sewing skills- Ability to effectively work in a close-knit team under supervision- Positive individual with a 'can do' attitude and results-driven approach- Well organised and proactive, managing multiple priorities and coping when under pressure- Friendly, responsive, and professional communication with all colleagues and customers- Committed, reliable, honest & responsible individual with high integrity- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, free parking, and training opportunities. No formal qualifications required.
