About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in hepatology, with a proven track record of managing complex cases and providing excellent clinical leadership. You will be a key player in our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development and implementation of business plans, and leading on quality improvement initiatives. With your expertise and experience, you will help shape the future of hepatology services at Kings College Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Develop and implement business plans to drive service improvement and innovation
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and audit processes
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care and meet clinical targets
- Participate in research and educational activities, contributing to the advancement of hepatology knowledge and practice
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in hepatology, with a focus on autoimmune liver disease and young adult hepatology
- Experience in managing complex cases and providing clinical supervision to junior staff
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to quality improvement and patient safety
- Registration with the GMC and name on the specialist register
- Able to demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams
