Restart Programme Job Description

We are seeking a Community Development Officer - Restart to join our team in the West Midlands. This role is focused on developing partnerships with local employers to create employment opportunities for unemployed individuals.

Estimated Salary: £27,000 + Benefits (dependent on experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Employer Engagement/Recruitment, excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About The Job

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities for unemployed individuals.
  2. Work closely with clients to understand their employment goals and provide guidance on job applications.
  3. Monitor progress towards targets and KPIs for successful job placements.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Essential Criteria

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Employer Engagement/Recruitment.
  2. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  3. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  4. Flexibility with travel arrangements.
