Business Standards Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Standards Manager to join our team at MERJE Ltd.

Responsibilities

This role involves leading our Business Quality Unit and ensuring that we meet our regulatory requirements in relation to standards of investment advice, portfolio management, and record keeping.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining our investment management file monitoring framework and associated procedures.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on identified issues and trends.
  • Reviewing and analysing data from file monitoring to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Producing and presenting Management Information reports to senior stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. Relevant file review/business assurance experience gained in a wealth or investment management environment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of UK financial regulations, particularly Consumer Duty.
  3. Strong project management skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £72,000 - £92,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits.
