Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Measurement Standards Manager to oversee the calibration laboratories and manage staff members reporting to the Quality/Partnership Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience in measurement standards management, team leadership, and contract work coordination. This role involves day-to-day partnership management, including finance and forecasting, as well as organizing and managing contract work throughout London.

Responsibilities:

  1. Management of staff members working on weights and measures inspection and verification tasks.
  2. Day-to-day management of the partnership, including financial planning and forecasting.
  3. Leadership of the calibration laboratories, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  4. Coordinating and managing contract work across London, meeting client needs and expectations.
  5. Undertaking inspections, verifications, and investigations as necessary.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience). The salary is based on market rates for this role and takes into account the company's location and industry standards.
