Job Description

The Examination Standards Manager is a critical role within our assessment delivery team at Pearson. As an expert in examination standards, you will be responsible for ensuring that our externally assessed units and modules meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and maintaining mark schemes and guidance documents to support examiners
  2. Moderating examiner performance and providing feedback to improve assessment outcomes
  3. Collaborating with supervisors and examiners to ensure high-quality assessment outcomes
  4. Supporting awarding activities, including writing reports and participating in committee meetings

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in quality assurance and assessment practice
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements in the education sector
