About the RoleThe Training Specialist will be responsible for designing and delivering effective learning experiences for all aspects of the Training Program for Lincoln Operations. This includes creating scalable and accessible digital content, utilizing multimedia and interactive technologies for diverse audiences, while ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies regarding training requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop compelling digital training content in the form of video, PowerPoint, and/or animations to be used during online and in-person training.
- Work with site SMEs and the Training Team to develop content that aligns with department and site needs.
- Manage the creation of digital training content from script writing, storyboarding, videography, video editing, and publication of content into the Learning Management System.
- Develop, implement, and lead digital training systems and procedures to assure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assist with the oversight of the Aseptic Training Program for Biological Manufacturing.
- Utilize expertise to ensure instructional design techniques and principles are applied to support GMP, job skills, and procedural training.
- Deliver learning solutions in a manner that engages the learner and produces desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with Managers/Team Leaders to develop and ensure job training material is correctly delivered.
- Measure and evaluate learning experiences to determine the impact of learning and performance solutions.
- Research new training materials and supplies that might enhance training procedures and provide value to our employees.
- Identify opportunities for future training needs and create curriculum to facilitate that training.
- Search for gaps in training material or content that should be filled to ensure safety, compliance, and productivity among employees.
- Communicate with team members, trainers, and management to ensure all training needs are met.
- Undergraduate degree in a Science, Learning and Development, multimedia, or other related degree.
- 3-5 years related experience in Global Manufacturing and Supply with an emphasis in Training.
- Relevant advanced degree in Learning and Development with 3-6 years of experience.
- Familiarity with the LMS (Learning Management System) and training-related regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of the Training Program.
- Proven multimedia content creation for education or training.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design and program development.
- Experience with content creation software like Vyond, Articulate 360, and video editing software.
- Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral) required to interface across departments, sites, and management levels.
- Strong organizational skills with proven experience in multi-tasking and prioritizing projects.
- Process and detail-orientated with the ability to follow complex processes and prepare detailed structured documents.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and reach targeted conclusions.
- Proven ability to operate in an independent manner, manage multiple projects at one time, and motivate and influence others.
- Knowledge of USDA, EU, and FDA requirements of a biological and pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
- Position located in Lincoln, NE.
- This position requires sitting, standing, and walking with occasional overtime/weekend work.
