Gleeson Development Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Administrator to provide administrative support to the Group Technical Department. This role involves developing and implementing document control systems, maintaining standard house types and details files, and ensuring all design information is issued to relevant stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date project information.
  • Maintain standard house types and details files under supervision.
  • Ensure all design information is issued to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain records of Type approval with NHBC, LABC, and SBD.
  • Liaise with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors as required.
  • Develop awareness of group procedures and implement.
  • Maintain Consultant Schedule / Pre-Qual documentation.
  • Coordinate and report R&S bond levels, BT, and infrastructure rebates.
  • Printing and collation of contract documents.
  • Assist Group Technical Director and Design Manager in day-to-day project administration tasks as required.
  • Data entry and uploads into our in-house project management system.
  • Attendance at team meetings and taking meeting minutes.
  • Maintaining development records for apprentices.
  • Manage the flow of drawings, documentation, and data within the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Reasonable technical knowledge base, ideally from a technical design / housebuilding background.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration across the business.
  • Previous experience in administration or document control for a Main Contractor / Housebuilder (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous experience using project management software (preferred but not essential).
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual.
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Experience of working with various file types including MS Office and Excel, Outlook.
