About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join our team in the Bridgend area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Accounting and financial record-keeping, including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  2. Processing purchase invoices and managing site expenses.
  3. Coordinating monthly credit card statements and checking receipts.
  4. Resolving supplier/site expense queries and preparing Sales Invoices.
  5. Supporting the preparation of monthly Management Information (MI), VAT Returns, and audits.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with Sage Line 50 accounting software.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
