We are seeking a committed and skilled teaching assistant to provide essential support in a special education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead educator in designing lessons and modifying the curriculum to meet individual student requirements.
  • Oversee and engage with students during various activities, ensuring effective classroom management.
  • Provide cover for planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons as needed.
  • Document and track student progress regularly.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or residency for a minimum of three months.
  • Possession of an overseas criminal record check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Current child enhanced DBS on the update service or readiness to apply for one.
  • Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Background in lesson planning and delivery.
  • Minimum three months of residency in the UK.
  • We do not accept applications from individuals on skilled worker visas, nor do we provide visa sponsorship.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
