Britannia Global Markets Limited is a dynamic and fast-growing organisation that operates a full-service execution and clearing brokerage business covering Exchange Traded Derivatives, Cash Equities, and Fixed Income, CFDs, and Foreign Exchange.

The Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing the credit risk exposure of the firm's clients and counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough credit evaluations of clients and counterparties, including financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and qualitative assessments.
  • Assign internal credit ratings and recommend credit or trading limits for clients and counterparties.
  • Monitor and track the credit exposures of clients, ensuring compliance with established limits.
  • Generate regular risk reports and provide insights to senior management on emerging risks or areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Support Functions to ensure proper documentation and implementation of risk controls.
  • Enhance and maintain the current internal credit scoring model, including building default models.
  • Liaise with regulators and auditors as necessary to ensure compliance with risk management standards.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of internal risk policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in the brokerage, investment, or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, and stress testing.
  • Experience with credit risk modelling tools, financial software, and risk management systems.
  • Familiarity with Market Risk and Operational Risk may be beneficial.
