Care Assistant with Driver Qualifications

This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a client with a spinal cord injury. As a Care Assistant with driver qualifications, you will be responsible for providing support with personal care, moving and handling, driving, and domestic duties. The successful candidate will have a kind and caring nature, flexibility, and reliability.
The role involves supporting the client on holidays, as they like to travel to hot countries numerous times per year. You will be required to live with the client in their home in Prestbury or at their university accommodation in Liverpool during term time. The client may go home for weekends. A big part of the client's culture is Nigerian food, so a support worker who is willing to help out with cooking would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with personal care
- Support with moving and handling
- Driving the client's vehicle
- Domestic duties including cooking
Requirements:
- Full clean UK driver's licence
- Kind and caring nature
- Flexibility & reliability
- Good communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
£138 to £162 per day, accrued holiday pay, Nest Personal Pension account, full specialist training, Active Awards programme, and Refer a Friend Scheme.
