Commissioning Specialist

About the Role:
The Commissioning Technician will play a vital role in the Box Encapsulation Plant project, a key construction project at the Sellafield Site. The plant will encapsulate nuclear waste in concrete, enabling its safe storage in a modern building.
As a Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. You will carry out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning, contribute to the production of test documentation, and perform testing activities for witnessing by third parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm.
- Carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning.
- Contributing to the production of test documentation.
- Contributing to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs.
- Performing testing activities for witnessing by third parties.
- Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids.
- Contributing to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements.
Requirements:
- Time served or equivalent in an engineering discipline e.g. piping or electrical discipline.
- Preference for ONC or equivalent or route to achieve the qualification.
- Project commissioning experience.
- Security Clearance - The ability to obtain BPSS, P4 pass and achieve any other client security requirements is essential.
