About the Role

The Commissioning Technician will play a vital role in the Box Encapsulation Plant project, a key construction project at the Sellafield Site. This project is part of Sellafield's 100-year clean-up programme, which involves taking nuclear waste recovered from the site's original waste plants and encasing it in concrete for storage in a modern building.

The Commissioning Technician will be responsible for ensuring safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. They will also be responsible for carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning, contributing to the production of test documentation, and performing testing activities for witnessing by third parties.

The ideal candidate will have time-served or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline, such as piping or electrical discipline, and project commissioning experience. They will also need to have the ability to obtain BPSS, P4 pass, and achieve any other client security requirements.
