Senior Commercial Executive

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Executive to drive business growth through effective communication of NielsenIQ solutions and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of client business strategies and objectives, and be able to translate this into actionable insights that drive revenue growth.
The Senior Commercial Executive will play a pivotal role in NielsenIQ's SMB growth strategy, accelerating organic growth through revenue opportunities and client engagement. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving revenue and profit targets
- Managing a portfolio of clients, renewing and upselling, and providing exceptional client service
- Helping to create a vibrant and engaging culture that drives results
- Delivering best practice procedures and materials to ensure consistency in client interactions
- Taking part in team incentives and campaigns to increase visibility and encourage a friendly competitive atmosphere
- Participating in sales training and sharing culture to ensure sales best practices and communicate client news and successes
- Contributing to actionable changes from the engage survey
Qualifications:
- Good personal management and organisation skills
- Ability to multitask and deliver to deadlines
- Active listening skills
- Problem solving skills
- High energy self-starter and self-driven
- Strong client-facing and communication and presenting skills
- Negotiation skills
- Capable of working as part of a team within a fast-paced, challenging, and demanding environment while maintaining high standards
- Experience with direct sales, sales development rep, or previous AM/AD and/or experience with SMB businesses up to £50m turnover
- Experience in FMCG sector or equivalent with appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products, services, and data
- Understanding of data, insight, category marketing – either agency of client background
- An understanding of the issues and understanding of the client's needs facing FMCG manufacturer and retailers
