About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with personality disorders on our Roseacre Ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to implement treatment plans and therapies for service users.
  • Provide support and assistance to qualified nurses in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Conduct safe observations of patients, either one-to-one or with other staff, to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and enjoyable living environment for service users.
  • Participate in individual and group work to promote physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Work within Safeguarding guidelines to ensure the protection and safety of service users.
  • Undertake training in de-escalation and PMVA techniques to manage potentially violent or aggressive behaviors.
