As a Pharmacy Services Assistant or Dispensing Technician, you'll be part of a dedicated and hardworking team of colleagues who work together to make a positive difference in the lives of our patients. Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring the delivery pharmacy is fully stocked and ready for accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes
  • Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, allowing and ensuring the safe supply of medicines. This could be through ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions

About You

We're looking for individuals with a genuine passion for customer service and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

  • A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients (over the phone) and colleagues
  • An upbeat, caring, and confident manner
  • An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences
  • A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you
  • Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided
