About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Aseptic Services Team as a Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys science and is keen to help others to start their career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice, you will assist Pharmacists and Technicians in the delivery of an effective and safe Aseptic Service. Your duties will include assisting with the aseptic dispensing of products, completing paperwork, sanitising raw materials and equipment, labelling medication, and assisting with stock control.

What You Will Gain

During your 15-month apprenticeship, you will receive comprehensive training and education to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required of the role. You will have the opportunity to work in a clean room environment and gain hands-on experience in aseptic dispensing and stock control.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is willing to gain an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services qualification and has GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths, and a Science subject at grade C or above. You should also have a good understanding of moving and handling techniques and be able to lift up to 12kg. Customer service experience is also essential.
