We are seeking an accomplished Inclusive Education Tutor to join our team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of learners, developing your skills and expertise in inclusive education.
About the RoleThis fixed-term contract (maternity cover) requires a highly motivated and experienced educator who can provide tutorial and pastoral care, lead a study programme, and contribute to curriculum planning and product development.
Main Responsibilities- Design and deliver inclusive education programmes, meeting the needs of students with learning disabilities/difficulties.
- Provide tutorial and pastoral care, supporting students' academic and personal growth.
- Lead a study programme, including Maths and English, to ensure students achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and product development, shaping the educational experience for future generations.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who can manage students with challenging behaviour and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the accreditation framework and assessment strategies in the post-16 sector.
Salary and BenefitsThis role comes with a competitive salary, ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy 40 days' annual leave plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year, as well as 5 days' wellbeing leave, and access to a comprehensive benefits package.
