About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Sopro. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business deals and managing our sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business deals by responding to prospective clients, booking discovery calls, and tailoring presentations to demonstrate how Sopro's service can support their sales processes and accelerate their growth.
  • Manage the sales pipeline through sequential states of the sales process: prospect, initial outreach, product demo, negotiation, and close.
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship to determine needs, build value, create engagement, and acceptance of Sopro's service.
  • Meet and exceed our monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
About You
  • You have a commercially minded approach with an understanding of the B2B sales cycle and the types of challenges faced by business owners, sales, and marketing professionals.
  • You have 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in-house for a B2B technology business.
  • You possess exceptional communication skills, with the ability to close deals across a range of audiences.
  • You are a sales sharp individual with the ability to educate and take people on a journey.
  • You have a mature, consultative approach, assuming natural authority in sales scenarios, guiding senior client stakeholders confidently through a slick sales process.
  • You are able to run a well-organized pipeline.
  • You are results-oriented with a high commitment and positive, can-do attitude.
  • You have strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit, and you are passionate, persuasive, and inspiring.
  • You are curious, keen to understand the bigger picture, and gather information/make connections.
  • You have experience in relationship management and collaboration, with multiple stakeholders to achieve shared goals and proactive in contributing to the success of others.
