We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Administrator to join our team at Proactive Appointments. As a Pension Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration and monthly payroll funding of Defined Benefit Policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, handling a variety of member queries, complaints, and matters related to the administration of DB policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Defined Benefits Administration team to ensure accurate and timely processing of DB payments.
  • Produce quotation information for deferred members and pensioners within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Act as a point of contact for Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and Pension Scheme Administrators.
  • Support TPAs, members, clients, and the wider DB Team with administration/payment queries, complaints, and service concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Defined Benefits Operations team and wider DB Team to support various tasks associated with client requirements, administration, reporting, MI, payments, and data validation.
  • Manage your own workload and prioritize tasks based on business volumes and priorities.
  • Utilize your knowledge of the Life/Pensions Insurance Industry to provide expert advice and support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pension Administrator.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Awareness of manual and computer-generated benefit calculations.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid working environment.
  • IR35 compliance.
