Community Early Years Practitioner

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Community Practitioner to join our team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a Community Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of integrated, evidence-based services for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with families, delivering a variety of evidence-based interventions that promote an attuned and sensitive approach to parenting and support the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
- Develop and deliver specified Support Packages to families, including infant massage when IAIM training is achieved.
- Utilize group facilitation skills at the drop-in baby hubs and cultivate an environment that supports parental self-efficacy and self-compassion.
- Plan, facilitate, and evaluate universal discussion sessions with groups of parents around specified topics linked to the six early years high-impact areas.
- Prepare health promotion boards that engage parents in health-promoting information.
- Lead structured, evidence-informed groups in a community venue or deliver groups in partnership with a children's centre worker.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with a Diploma of Higher Education, Foundation Degree, or equivalent qualification in a relevant area, such as early years education or childhood studies. Essential skills and experience include evidence-based practice, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain focused on the child and child outcomes when working with families.
