Technical Sales Consultant

About the Role:
">- Advising customers on product options and suitability.
- Supporting the order process, liaising with factories and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Problem-solving technical issues with the support of the in-house Design, Engineering, and Sales teams.
- Learn and be enthused by a vast product range of components and accessories that offer your customer choice and solutions
- Online marketing, using social media platforms to inspire, educate and increase customer interaction
As a Technical Sales Advisor at Tate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling a variety of enquiries from pricing and product suitability to troubleshooting product installation and usage issues.
">Key Requirements:
">- Excellent communication skills to engage with both business clients and the public.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (proficiency in Excel is essential).
- Social media skills ideally to showcase these innovative solutions to the DIY audience.
- Numeracy skills for handling measurements and calculations.
- A technical aptitude and an interest in problem-solving.
- Organisational skills to manage time, admin, and decision-making effectively.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or order processing, preferably in a technical or mechanical environment.
