The role of the Awards Consultant (AC) is instrumental in ensuring the success of the awards program. The role is focused on building relationships with potential customers, gaining insights, achieving targets and collaborating closely with the marketing team for promotional activities and customer acquisition.

The AC should have developed strong negotiation skills (preferably in B2B markets), effective business communication, and a genuine passion for business development.

The role relates to the sales of products for the three well-established awards programs in the UK. With a rich history of a successful organization, these programs encompass awards nomination (entry), booking (ticket), judge packages, and sponsorship as their main products.
- The role may suit someone who wishes to work part-time, returning to work after a break and who needs flexibility with hours and holidays._

- **Proven experience in sales** with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. You will be an excellent listener and clear communicator. You will ensure you understand what the customer wants, and what we can offer and you will ensure the customer gets what they want, quickly and efficiently.
- **Problem-solving and decision-making** - Exhibit excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges effectively. The ability to analyse situations, identify solutions, and make informed decisions is crucial for success in this role.
- **Honesty and ethical behaviour** - Uphold high standards of honesty and ethical conduct in all interactions. A person of integrity who prioritises ethical practices and maintains transparency in dealings with clients, colleagues, and partners.
- **Team player** - Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and actively contribute to the overall success of the Sales team. A team-oriented individual who values collaboration and works cohesively towards shared goals.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in the events industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoom.
