Deputy Sister in Critical Care

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated nurse to fill a Band 6 Critical Care Outreach Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse position. As a critical care outreach nurse, you will be responsible for supporting ward-based nursing and medical staff to improve patient care and outcomes.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with a passion for critical care to develop their skills and expertise while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Work cross-site at both Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals to provide critical care outreach services
  • Support ward-based nursing and medical staff to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Coordinate and facilitate the transfer of patients into critical care and the high dependency unit

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
