About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pediatric Critical Care Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to the delivery of high-quality nursing care to critically ill children.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, ensuring that individualized nursing and family-centered care is delivered in accordance with our Nursing Philosophy of Care. The role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, communicating effectively with all levels of medical and nursing staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in the delivery of high-quality nursing care to critically ill children.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Paediatric Critical Care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Essential Qualifications
  • RSCN (Child) or RN (Adult) NMC Registration.
  • A recognized Paediatric Critical Care Course.
  • Degree-level study or working towards a degree.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Evidence of commitment to teaching and supporting junior staff and students.
Estimated Salary: £43,041 - £56,958 per annum
