Production Test Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Test Engineer to join our client's Electronics team in Henlow. This is an initial 12-month contract opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of £34.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct production tests and diagnostics of complex weapons at system and subsystem levels.
* Test and diagnose complex electronic and electrical equipment, identifying corrective actions to ensure timely production.
* Assess test equipment issues and direct support services to resolve failures.
* Evaluate technical problems to develop proposals for investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements.

Role Requirements:

* HNC/HND (Electronics) or equivalent qualification, plus good experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test.
* Good understanding of measurement and test principles, and associated equipment.
* Knowledge of RF and microwave technology at subsystem level is an advantage.
* Familiarity with environmental testing, including ESS, is also beneficial.
