Production Test Specialist

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Production Test Engineer to join our client's Electronics team in Henlow. This is an initial 12-month contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct production testing and diagnostics of complex systems and subsystems.
- Test and diagnose complex electronic and electrical equipment, identifying corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
- Assess and resolve Test Equipment issues, directing support services to resolve equipment failures.
- Evaluate technical problems to develop proposals for investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements.
- Represent Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings to ensure efficient progress of equipment and quality notifications.
Requirements:
- HNC/HND (Electronics) or equivalent, with good experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test.
- Good understanding of measurement and test principles, and associated equipment.
- Understanding of RF and microwave technology at subsystem level is an advantage.
- Understanding of Environmental testing (including ESS) is also an advantage.
- Good planning and organising skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Manual handling training.
- ESD training.
