Production Test Engineer

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Production Test Engineer to join our client's Electronics team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting production tests and diagnostics of complex electronic systems and subsystems.
  • Testing and diagnosing complex electronic and electrical equipment, identifying and resolving production test failures.
  • Assessing test equipment issues and directing support services to resolve equipment failures.
  • Evaluating technical problems to develop proposals for investigations and corrective actions.
  • Representing the Test Engineering team at meetings to ensure efficient progress of equipment and quality notifications.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A HNC/HND (Electronics) level of qualifications or equivalent.
  • Good experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test.
  • A solid understanding of measurement and test principles, and associated equipment.
  • An understanding of RF and microwave technology at subsystem level.
  • An understanding of environmental testing, including ESS.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Manual handling training.
  • ESD training.
