We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team. This 4-year apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to become a fully qualified Forklift Truck & Powered Access Engineer, with a starting salary expectation of £30k+ dependent on location.

Your Role

  • You will complete the 3-year Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard.
  • You will work on customer's premises and at Briggs Equipment Ltd workshop locations within your specified region.

Requirements

  • GCSEs at grade 4 / C or Scottish National 5 Grade C or above in English, Science & Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety principles
  • Ability to work effectively with mentor, line manager, customers, and other members of the team
