Job Opportunity

Care UK is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Skylark House care home in Horsham. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising care assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and families to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Administering and recording medication, as well as conducting risk assessments
  • Providing a fun, inclusive, and professional approach to care, ensuring residents remain active and independent
  • Working closely with the leadership team to develop and improve services

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • A good understanding of care planning processes and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans
