Associate Director (Civil Engineering - Infrastructure)

Location: Bristol

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £68,000 plus flexible benefits

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead a vibrant team of civil engineers in Bristol. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer with a strong track record in business development, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the business plan and drive growth through business development
  2. Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance team capabilities
  3. Oversee significant infrastructure projects from conceptual planning to completion
  4. Manage client relationships and ensure client needs are met
  5. Lead teams and chair client and consultation project meetings
Requirements:
  1. Chartered Engineer (MICE) with a degree in Civil Engineering
  2. Strong business development and project management skills
  3. Experience in highway design, detailed drainage, and attenuation design
  4. Ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers
  5. Substantial experience in consultation, negotiations, and meetings with third-party authorities
