Catering Operations Director

Randstad UK Holding is seeking a skilled Catering Operations Manager to lead our catering operations within healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day catering operations, ensuring high-quality food services delivery.
- Develop and implement menus that meet patient, staff, and visitor dietary needs and preferences.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of catering staff, fostering a positive working environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities.
- Ensure all catering activities comply with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of hygiene and food quality.
- Develop and manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor and control inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Customer Service:
- Maintain excellent customer service standards, addressing concerns or feedback promptly and effectively.
- Engage with patients, staff, and visitors to ensure their catering needs and preferences are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Catering Manager, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong budget management and cost control skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering management, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
