Your experience working within nuclear safety will be a vital asset to our client, a world-leading organisation in the defence and civil nuclear sectors. The company is always looking for talented individuals to challenge and develop their technical capabilities in cutting-edge environments.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple locations, shaping the nuclear safety case strategy, collaborating with project partners, and producing safety reports and documents. To be suitable for the role, you will have a proven track record in safety, ideally within the defence or nuclear domains, or other highly regulated industries.

Salary and Benefits

We are offering a competitive salary of £55,000-£70,000 per annum, including a range of benefits such as bonus, flexible leave, car allowance, significant pension, and more. Hybrid working will also be offered.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the nuclear safety case strategy, working closely with project partners, and producing safety reports and documents. You will also lead safety case report production and be responsible for ALARP assessments.

Requirements

">

To be suitable for the role, you will need to have an Honours Degree (or equivalent) in physics, mechanical engineering, or a closely related discipline. Ideally, you will be a Technical practitioner in the Nuclear/Defence domains and able to demonstrate good engineering judgement with experience in applying fundamental engineering principles.
