About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Perinatal Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health assessments, treatment programs, and risk management for patients and their carers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a clinical case load, fulfilling all the roles and responsibilities of a Care Coordinator.
  • Work effectively in the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health assessments, treatment programs, and manage risk.
  • Visit patients in their own homes and communities, as well as running clinics at the team base and other community venues.

Requirements

  • Qualified Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker.
  • Experience of post-registration work, ideally with this client group.
  • Strong sense of initiative, excellent team working ability, and excellent communication skills.
