About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Immunisation/Vaccinator Nurse/Midwife to join our dynamic team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering a safe and effective vaccination service for pregnant women and babies across our trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health pre-assessments, including immunisation history, and administer vaccines with patient consent.
  • Address patient concerns, ensure consent and clinical assessment are completed and recorded, and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
  • Collaborate with NHS colleagues to deliver a vaccination service, escalating problems outside your scope of training to an appropriate person.
