We are seeking a skilled Immunisation/Vaccinator Nurse/Midwife to join our dynamic team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering a safe and effective vaccination service for pregnant women and babies across our trust.
Main Responsibilities- Perform thorough health assessments and administer vaccines with consent, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Address patient concerns and ensure informed consent and clinical assessment are completed and recorded in maternity records.
- Recognise and respond to medical emergencies, including allergic reactions to vaccines.
- Collaborate with NHS colleagues to deliver a vaccination service, escalating issues outside your scope of training to an appropriate person.
