Senior Actuary - Reporting & Analysis 10 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a Senior Actuary to join our Capital Reporting and Analysis team on a 10-month fixed term contract basis. The successful candidate will support the delivery and analysis of the Group's Solvency II actuarial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the production of actuarial information required for internal and external reporting of Solvency II.
  2. Develop and implement SII methodology and regulatory changes.
  3. Develop and maintain Group-wide methodology for actuarial systems.
  4. Support the Heads of Capital Reporting and Analysis to set actuarial reporting bases.
  5. Ensure timely testing of actuarial reporting tools.
  6. Develop and improve reporting processes for actuarial purposes.
  7. Represent the team and provide actuarial expertise for projects and change initiatives.
  8. Support the development of responses to requests from UK regulators.
  9. Operate a robust control framework for result production.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of insurance products and markets, including UK reporting regulations.
  2. Experience in Actuarial Reporting with annuities products.
  3. Ability to assess materiality and determine course of action.
  4. Good problem analysis and resolution skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Detailed knowledge of relevant business processes.
  7. Leadership and influencing skills.
  8. Understanding of people resource requirements.
